storing pumped milk

  • In a booklet i it says can be stored in fridge for 72hours, stored in freezer compartment part of fridge for a month and then in a proper freezer for 3 months hope this helps :)
  • You can get pumps that pump directly into bags or into bottles and then dump it in the bag. Make sure you date them, use the oldest first and never mix differenr dated milks. I like the idea of using bpa free ice cube trays and freezing the milk like that. Then you can store it in small ziploc freezer bags and each cube is about one ounce so you dont waste the milk if baby only eats a few ounces. Just dont leave the milk frozen in the trays too long. The cubes melt fast too. Hth :)
  • All rubbermaid trays are bpa free, they have specialized trays for breast milk but they are expensive and the same thing.
