this day just plain stinks

My husbands childhood friend passed away Friday after a 2.5 year battle with cancer. Yesterday was his wife's birthday, so the wake and funeral were pushed forward to today and tomorrow. Jason was seriously one of the kindest, most thoughtful, generous and selfless people this world has ever known. He was a 10 year veteran of the police department. There are so many people celebrating his life, but still....I hate today. And tomorrow is going to be harder. He's getting a full police burial.

    I am so sorry for your husbands loss. I know what it is like to lose someone to cancer. My thoughts and prayers r w u and your husband during this time. I will also b praying for his wife as well.
