So Im STILL A LOOSE 3 CM 50% EFFACED AND BABY IS -2(what does -2meane I am so confused)! I feel like crying! Plus he is measuring 37 weeks and I am 38 weeks! I refuse to go into SEPTEMBER pregnant...Im so sad right now...I have been having contractions for about 2 days STRAIGHT and no progress! My NP was going to send me in but one of the other doctors said NOOOO! I am stressed the fuck out and just want this baby out of me already!

@2boiz_1gurl it means the baby is still high up I got check yesterday and I am 1cm -2 n my doc said it just mean baby havnt dropped

-2 refers to the station of the pelvia your baby is in. You want to be in positive number territory bc this means your baby is descending out of your body. Good luck! I will be 38 weeks tomorrow and as of Monday I wasnt dilated at all--sooo.u are in a better position than I am!

-2 is about the babys position to the center of ur hips and pelvic bone.. it means babys head is 2 cm from correct positioning for labor

I'm 39 weeks 1cm dilated, 50%effaced, and at -3 so you got it better than I do as well.. be happy, be patient.

Thanks ladies! They never used this term with my other two kids... I'm confused because she said last time that bbys head was super low... I get it tho thanks!
