LATINA WOMEN: Is "meanness" really associated with our character??
According to my BD, it is... ok.. lets review the meaning of being mean/meanness: SELFISH, UNKIND, STINGY, CRUEL, etc.
Ouch... if I was him, i would have left me a looong time ago! lol.. poor man smh.. But I'll take it if he can look me in the eye and call me selfish, unkind, stingy, and cruel aaand if he can back it up.. :-?
*Feisty: full of courage, spirited, agressive, excitable, out spoken, etc. HMMM... now this I can admit to and accept, I am/can be feisty if, it's called for.
I am undeniably Latina, South American, Bolivian to be exact. I was born and raised in Bolivia until the age of 13, and have been living here in the US ever since, I am now 22. So i guess you could say I'm not your typical Latina in a way. I'm not the typical submissive third world country Latina thats for sure.. no no no lol. Character wise, I value my independence as much as I value eveything I learned from my mother. I cook, I clean, I enjoy taking care of my man, I'm faithful and loyal, Im very family oriented, and hard working to name a few. BUT, you best believe I wont take any bullshit lol. I believe in giving and getting back equal respect. I stand up for what I believe in, I will fight to defend my family, myself, and whats mine if I have to (*lioness roar*) ..Therefore, I only let submission take its course where it counts and nowhere else.. b-e-d lol
I'm speaking for myself of course, but I know many "modern day" Latinas and others can relate..
But anyway... don't call us mean juts because we dont always agree with you or let you have your way... call us feisty if you want

Aww.. Thank you.. It really is how its been with BD and I. Our personal relationship is far from perfect at this point.. and I am hurt and mad at him for so many reasons, but I never stoped wanting to take care of him and, of course.. I still love him..
it sucks lol.. but I would never turn my back on him..
