So relieved I can have a vaginal birth!

I had fibroid removal surgery in 2003 and the doctors thought I would almost definitely need a c-section because of it. I was so mad. They finally got my records from Penn and turns out I don't need one after all. Such a relief! Blueberry is our first (and only) and I really want a vaginal delivery. So excited! :ar!

Yay!! I had to go all the way to a different county to be able to try a vbac, no one here does them. I had 2 vag and my 3rd was a c-section. That's what I got for moving to a town with almost a 40%c-section rate. They r in it for the money here.

I'm so happy! The thought of a cs scared me. If I had to then I'm sure I would be okay but I want the whole labor experience. I guess I should figure out who should be in the room... Kelly and my mom sounds good. Hooooray!

Yeah, it used to be even worse if u can imagine that. So I drive a half-hour each way to my Dr, which for those n a big city is normal, but I live in small town USA. The Dr I would go to if they weren't all crazy here is only a few blocks away. Instead I drive 25 miles without a/c, but its so worth it. Just hope I get an induction so I don't have to worry about driving while n labor, lol!!

Yay for you. I know the feeling all to well. I had to have an emergency section with my son and it was hell after having 3 vag births. Now im pregnant again and the thought of cs again made me never want to try again. Luckily I've got the last few doctors around that do vbacks. They said I was a perfect person for a vback. I was so relieved!!! Congrats to you. But don't let the thought tho out of your mind bc you never know for sure what's going to happen.

That's great news @blueberrysmom. sounds like a big relief for you.
@charlotteb are you going for a vbac? Just wondering because inductions can take away your chance for vbac.

Yeah vbac. That's the goal. My Dr was pissed when I told him how my last one went down and y I had to have the c-section. I think he may have even complained to the state board of health. He hears the same story a lot from people who come from here to go see him after having a bad experience.
