Amnio Results
Sorry just had to let it out.. i just had an amino at 34weeks to check for any chromosomal disorders , the main 2 being Down Syndrome and Digeorge Syndrome. I had it at 34weeks so i didnt have a chance of miscarrage or still birth, as much to my own surprise i really didnt care as long as he was generally well and healthy we would be happy as three peas in apod. Got my results back after a 1in25 chance of having downs/digeorge and it was clear!! I only had it as digeorge has immune problems with it usually and baby needs an operation within so many days due to his heart defect. i can honestly say as happy as i am he is ok with his intial results i dont feel any happier or relieved as i thought i would which proves to me it really didnt matter :-D sorry bout the lenght just had it get it all out also thought this may be some help/support/hope to anyone who has high chnace of chromosome problems x
