Scheduled induction question.. FTM!!

How do u get scheduled to be induced early?? Like what do the circumstances have to be??

    I was having contractions every five minutes for five days with no progression, so my Dr decided to induce me. Turns out my daughter passed her first bowel in the womb so it was good that i was induced.

    At my 38 week appointment my doc offered to schedule an elective induction at 39 weeks. I declined. I want baby to come on his own time. I know my dr will bring it up again tomorrow at my 39 wk appointment and I think I'll schedule it for a week after my DD so baby still has a chance to come on his own but not go too far past

    I had gestational diabetes and she didnt want me going over and take chances of something happening. most dr only induce if it a medical issue.
