How to buy Maternity jeans

Its my first bby im 5 months and have only gained 3lbs I bought a belly band to make my regular jeans comfortable but I want to know how should u buy ur maternity jeans should u get them a little big or where they fit perfect

    most companies size everything same as normal clothes just with a lil extra belly room! I always buy my pre-preggo size and i've never had issues with them not fitting. I love the belly bands too!

    I actually went to Motherhood & Maternity store last month and bought my first pair of jeans. I had no clue what I was doing and the ladies who work there will help you find the right pair just for you! I may be the only crazy one saying this but... I love my jeans and I wear them all the time!

    It's like cutting off the top of a camisole, visually. It's stretchy and tight so you can leave your pants open and cover it with the band. I saw nice ones at Forever 21 online for $10, I think, and in multiple colors.
