red heads bleed more? wtf?

My nurse told me that she has to keep an eye on me because red heads tend to bleed more after a c section...anyone else heard of this? I don't think my bleeding is that bad at all...and she was pushing on my belly so hard! It sucked...

I was told that too. I think that the tale that red heads have a higher pain tolerance makes up for it tho.
