  • Get into a solid bedtime routine. My son was having this problem. I used to bathe him then let him watch 1 cartoon...bad idea for him. Now, he takes a bath, I read him 1-2 stories(in his bed), turn the lights out and rub his back. Some nights it takes him longer to fall asleep, but he's not constantly getting up
  • Maybe you can choose a bed time and tell her at that time she has to be in bed or she will get time out

Our doctor had us give our daughter melatonin... but it wasnt everyday... try not to do naps or do a shorter nap. We did a warm bath and with a small bedside lamp we read a book. Then lights out and snuggle time... we have blackout curtains on her windows so its dark and she had a little non-white nightlight... (now at 5 its a fish tank)
  • Time out ends up in a spanking she will not comply we have had the same routine her whole life and it was never a problem untill acouple of months ago and now you'd think I was speaking in spanish she will not lay still she will not sleep in her own bed she is making my life hell I fight her every afternoon for an hour just to get a 30 min nap and I have been fighting her for close to 3 hours now for bed
  • I only make her nap when she is absolutly unbearable like today no nap she was great all day till I mentioned bed time
  • is this some sort of toddler power struggle per say to see who is the boss? Is she just testing her limits and all my patience at the same time? I'm a single parent so this everynight stuff is killing me
