Cramping after internal exam..

I'm 36+3 today and had my appt this afternoon. She checked for dialation and I'm not dilated at all . Anyway, the exam was quick and didn't hurt at all (internals with my son hurt every time) and now I'm having cramping...is it from the internal and is it normal? I hate that ive been having cramps and bh for nothing to be happening, I feel like I'll be preto forever!

Yep its normal, checking you can cause cramping and sometimes dilation

I had my first check this week and I also felt cramping afterwards. I had just a tinge of pink when I wiped after I went to the bathroom too.

Thanks ladies! I hope that its at least helping me dilate since they are pretty strong and make me feel like I'm going t have diarrhea (tmi I know)...I will be so mad if they say I haven't progressed at all when I go back next week lol
