  • Leave it babies poop can be very sporatic if its been over a week them worry, but if he's not fussy leave it. If he feels blocked up and is not eating take him in, but if he otherwise is fine don't worry about it.
  • Is give him some water in a bottle before he's too backed up and in pain from the constipation but that's just me :)

If it happens again you could try a baby suppository or rectal stimulation with a rectal thermometer. Same thing happened to my daughter at the asame age. I took her to the pediatrician and he told me to try the suppository first. If that didn't work then take a thermometer and insert the tip and gently move it around. I remember being taught to do that in nursing school and it usually works. The suppository just seems less harsh ;) Anyway, it worked. With in 5 minutes of inserting the suppository there was the poop :) and thankfully we never had to do it again:) I do think if I had waited it out she would have popped on her own. I was just an anxious ftm ;)
  • In a baby so young I wouldn't give water or pedialyte unless your doc says its ok. They really aren't supposed to get water until 9+ months.
  • Thats good. Lol I was told not to worry about poops unless its bloody, watery, our has been over a week. Is he breastfed?
