Really Doc, Really?
So, a month ago at my last appointment, I asked my doctor about heartburn medicine. I explained to him that I have it all day, and tums arent really effective. He said that he would write me a prescription. However, I left the appointment and forgot about it! So at my appointment yesterday, I asked my other doc for medicine! He said "Pregnant women are constantly over prescribed. Its actually been shown that people who take heartburn medicine for years have problems. Pregnant women come in all the time and want help for a little bit of heartburn, whenever its best for the baby if they suffered only just a little."
X( uhmm..... my last doctor said that it was prefectly fine... I wouldnt be asking if it wasnt serious. So if hes think staying up at night crying because its so bad its just a "little" problem... then maybe he should get pregnant and see what its like... I mean, Ive tried smaller meals, tums, milk, sitting up, not eating after six, staying away from certain foods, but nothing helps... I mean, I know he knows more about my body and pregnancy that I do... But I'm the one thats pregnant, and I dont feel like he should have jumped my case like that.. It made me feel really bad about myself!!!!!
It may seem like a silly vent, but the little things irk me, I SWEAR!!!!
