Period Already?!?

I delivered Aug 2, its only been 27 days and im bleeding already. I.stopped bleeding about four days after delivery. I have been strictly breastfeeding around the clock since day one...

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a period or something else?

@Boho_Chic My son is almost 8 weeks old and I strictly breast feed. I stopped bleeding around week 4 and got my period at week 6. Everyone is different, some who breast feed may not get a period for a while and some get there's right away. With my second baby I nursed her and didn't get a period till she was 5 months but with my other 3 I nursed them as well and got my period at about 5 weeks. If it's bright red then it probably is your period. Especially if you hadn't bled for weeks now. Hope this helps.
