Doctor is worried the baby is too big. What does that mean?

So I have GD and they have been tracking my baby's growth and the doctor is worried he's going to be "too big" and if in the next ultra sound it shows his growth isn't slowing down then "We'll need to talk" anyone know what that means? I know I should have asked him when he said it but you know how it is you don't think straight until you're out of the office and home already. So what happens if the baby is "too big"?

  • You will probably be induce before your due date
  • I think c section. My doctor thinks my baby will be big n wanted to do a c section I declined it. Ima try to deliver him hes was only weighed at 16 weeks And 32 so he may not be that big

  • So then either way the doctor will want me to deliver early? Either induction or c-section? I guess it could be worse. I was worried he meant something worse. I've heard that I should never let them induce me has anyone ever heard that?
