Fair food...what is your favorite?

We thought it would be fun to take our 2.5 year old daughter to the big fair. My dad wanted to get an early dinner with us before we went so we went to the Olive Garden. BIG MISTAKE!!! I got to the fair and was so full I could not bare to eat anything else. I did bring home my favorite fair scones with the raspberry filling. What is everybody else love food wise from the fair?

@LMelanson. We were debating on the funnel cake with strawberry or the elephant ear and we went with the funnel cake! So good even though I could not eat a lot of it.

We had not been to a fair in years and had a good time, so we decided that next year we would go again and not eat before we go so we could enjoy the food more.

@breewashington08. When we go the funnel cake I saw the deep fried oreos but did not know how good they would be.

Texas State Fair is a 'fried' emporium... I couldnt even tell you my fav!!!... So sad that I cant go this year... (Its around when baby boy is due and the fair is 5 hrs or so away)

@QueenBeeDarling. My best explanation of a elephant ear is this big flat piece of deep fried dough that has cin & sugar on it. Really good. My mom used to make "fake" elephant ears for us when we were kids by using left over pie crust, bake it with butter and cin & sugar. YUM!!!

Sausage on a stick and roasted corn! Also a sour apple sno cone and caramel apple yummmm... I'm not even prego anymore but I will be eating all this when the fair comes in october
