Fetal Dopplers?

Just looking to find out everyones opinion on whether home use fetal dopplers and a good or bad idea and the pros and cons? Has anyone used one would you recommend them and how far on were u when u could pick up a heart beat?

Rented mine from heartbeats@ home, online...I loved it I believe I was 8-10 weeks when I heard her heartbeat but I can't remember the exact week for sure! Whatever it says on their website is correct, and it was the same dopplar my doc has! Heartbeatsathome.com is the site

The one I bought wasn't half as good as the drs. I tried it at about 32 wks an it just made me worry because I couldn't find her heartbeat. I took mine back I though it was a waste of money

I almost got one but I figured once I could feel him kick what would be the point.

@emy that's what I'm worried about, not being able to pick up the heart beat, I would freak out. Lol
