  • Without being rude, your 36 weeks, which isn't full term and you've been having these pains for over 24 hours, I would call doc ASAP. Although babies survival rates are great at 36 weeks, their lungs may still be not quite ready. Good luck.
  • I'm 36+2 and having the same thing but contractions are averaging 13 min apart. Are you right at 36 weeks or how many days?:)
  • Ur preterm?! Get to the doc wtf r u thinking!? That baby needs extra time in there! Ur putting ur baby at risk and being a bit selfish sweetie... this is making me question ur parenting skills.... [-(

Okay just read you are 36 weeks today. :) I know this is contradicting but I'd go in. :) I'm not going in untill my contractions are closer but it's because I've been having pre-term labor scares since 28 weeks and been in and out of l&d. My last appointment with my Dr at 34 weeks she told me basically to treat from here on out like I was full term and not go in unless contractions were such or I had bleeding or other symptoms. But this is from my Dr and my case. I'd go in to at least be monitored. :)))) Also I have 2 due dates and this maybe a factor as to why she wants me to wait. According to my lmp I am already 37 weeks.
  • @mrs4c your under the direction of a doctor which is totally understandable.

At 36w I'd definetly call or go in due dates can be off you could be even less than 36w. Please take these ladies advice their only trying to help.
  • Girl u betr get ur butt to the hospital. If u asked the same thing in a different post yesterday I dnt understand why u didn't take the advice then. Its always betr to b safe than sorry
  • I'm on my way to l and d and for everyone talking shit and saying I'm selfish I have also been to hospital several times for pre term symptoms that are the exact same and they always turn me away and don't take me seriously so I wanted to make sure they actually had a reason to take me seriously this time so something was actually done about it! Get the facts of someones situation before you start talking shit because that was outright rude and I was already told to my doc last night when I talked to her to wait so THAT is why I have waited. Now I have more symptoms so now they want me to go in.
  • Im glad they want u to go in now. Im sry u felt everyone was rude, although i can tell they were jus trying to help i can also tell that they were pretty rude abt it. But hey thats pregly rite?! Anyway u kno wats best for u n ur baby. I hope lil one can hold out for a lil while longer. Good luck babes
  • Good luck going in!:) I know how frustrating it is to get sent home all the time! The nurses make you doubt yourself when it really can matter.
  • Heck I wasn't rude I told u how it was and u we're being selfish. Im happy u decided to go in good luck! Sorry but I don't sugar coat crap and im going to speak why's on my mind. If u don't post selfish crap u wont get rude answers. Simple as that! But update plz and I hope u can keep ur baby in there another week or two
  • I hope that you and your baby are fine. Keep us posted. Good luck!
  • Like they say.. if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.
  • I'm glad you went in considering we have the same due date so youre actually 35 weeks today not 36. Youre considered "in" week 36. Hopefully they help you out mama and hold that baby in!
  • @mandac10 u were very rude! She wasn't being selfish, she did exactly what her Dr told her to.. now if u ain't got supportive things to say then don't say it... I'm sure she wasn't gonna just sit there and let something happen to her baby!
  • I agree @Mommy_2! @mandac10 it wasn't that you weren't sugar coating things, you didn't let her comment back or explain before you jumped on her. Calling her a selfish little girl and questioning her parenting skills was rude, disrespectful, and uncalled for.
  • Um... @mommy_2 did u not read this? She posted same thing yesterday and didn't do anything. She was being selfish by not going to get looked at bit yet feeling the need to post the same thing again! Sometimes u have to be rude to get ur point across! I mean next time should I say.... ur doing a great thing not going beings ur preterm im sire everything will be ok if u have ur baby preterm on the kitchen floor and it can't breath because its lungs arnt developed.... would that be a better answer for u? Thinking ur in preterm labor for 24 hrs n not even calling ur doc and telling them what's going on is extremely selfish! Its about as selfish as u can get pregnant! And me saying I question he parenting skills well I do now! What if the baby has a high fever? Is she going to not do anything and hope it goes away?! I just think some people don't stop and think. U have pains that arnt going away that could be labor u go to l&d as simple as that or at least call n c what ur doc says. U don't ignore it and hope it goes away that is pure stupidity!
  • I looked at her post from yesterday and actually she said she was only contracting 20 minutes apart, which isn't active labor @mandac10 you're being really harsh. Maybe your having a bad day or hormones but calm down. If @babymamadrama is in preterm labor, she needs support. Not to be attacked. If you can't do that, GET OFF HER THREAD.
  • Sounds like early labor symptoms to me. It's a good idea that your going in. Let us know what they say and keep us updated. I'm glad your going in to get checked. I know it is hard to know when its the right time to go in especially when you've been there and they've sent you home before, so frustrating! Good luck momma.
  • i personally wouldn't have waited 24 hrs. if they are that close for about an hr and youre preterm i would have gone in. but i see that you said they were 20 minutes apart about 24 hrs ago. im glad you went in. maybe ask doc if it happens again when exactly you should come in or call after a certain period of time. :)
  • @mandac10 obviously u didn't read what the hell she wrote! She said she called her Dr and that the hospital has given her the run around before! Stop being stupid and rude! She's not finna have her baby on the floor! And I agree with @bentlysmommy whatever you're angry about get over it and get off her thread!
