question about sleepy baby????

Our daughter was born on Thursday last week. She is very sleepy. It's hard to wake her to get her to feed. Is this normal???? I don't remember my other 2 being like this but it has also been 8 years since they were babies.

My daughter will be 2 weeks old this thursday, and she sleeps ALL the time. Within the past few days, she's started to stay awake for maybe an hour at a time, 2 or 3 times a day.

Totally normal. It sounds kinda mean but before 42 weeks gestation I had to really piss my babies off to get them to wake up and eat. Undress her or wipe her face and head with a wet washcloth..the angrier she gets, the better she'll eat!
