    The taste is nasty LOL
  • I gave it to my son because he was allergic to milk. He went from breast milk to rice & soy milk... he drank it fine. If its enriched, it has the same nutrients as cows milk (but not the fat)
  • My 2 1/2 year old has recently (within the last month) been cleared by her allergist to have soy milk. Before she was on elecare as the doc said her allergies were to severe for anything else, but she is now in the clear for soy milk. Rice milk isn't a good substitute because there is no protein in it, even the supplemented kind. Soy milk is great if your child cant have dairy, or if you guys are vegan. The new brands, silk, 8th continent, actually taste good.
I even give it to kids who come and play with mine in my house and no ones ever complained. ;;)
  • My nephew drinks the Silk milk. I think it is Soy but that is all he can tolerate. He is 5 and has always drank it since coming off formula.

@cynthiaY @Gen86 my daughter is one and half..she is also on neocate because of milk allergy..so its my first time trying milk with her I'm also concern about her weight she is a picky eater..I want to know will she lose weight with soy milk
  • @mama2fn3 well my daughter is also a very picky eater, and with all her allergies I do have to be creative in the food department but soy milk should be fine and not cause her to lose weight. Regular soy will have a decent amount of fat per 8 oz.
  • My 2 yr old likes soy milk on his cereal and we've had no probs :)
  • @Gen86... thanxz I hope everything works out good for my baby girl
  • I used to mix his milk with a product called "toddler health drink" look into it,great supplement
  • @mama2fn3 No problem! ;;) unfortunately im an expert on a lot of alternative foods and milks. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
