Bishop test for inducing labor!!

edited September 2011 in Pregnant
So I've been googling induction since my dr said I might need to be induced. If by week 39 I don't pop, I will be induced. So it says if your have a high Bishop score, the more likely your induction will be sucessful.
The Bishop test evaluates dilation, effacement, station, consistancy of cervix, & position of cervix.
It tests to see if your body is ready for induction. The more ready your body, the more likely induction will work. & the less likey induction will go wrong or you will need a c-section. Something to ask your dr if he mentions inducing labor. Good luck mommies!!
