Im 31 weeks and I knw its not good but I sleep on my back, and while I do that I sort of tighten my stomach...I just wanna kno am I the only one who does this and is it harmful to the baby? I don't tighten it on purpose it just happens.
I'm 24wks and I lay on my back at night cuz that's when he's most active and I love feeling it...but I can't fall asleep that way. My tummy gets harder when I lay like that as well
It's Braxton Hicks...contractions. I am 32 weeks and I have been having them since about my 22nd pregnancy week. Totally normal and completely unharmful to the baby. But they can most definitely get uncomfortable to you. (Not much longer)
Omg I'm 17 wks nd do dat but I cnt control it so I try 2 sleep on my side nd it helps but the baby dnt like the position.......honestly I tried this nd it wrk wen u slp on ur bac put ur knees up were ur feet is flat on the bed it wrk 4 me I dnt hurt 2 try
its more uncomfortable for you to sleep on your back than anything else...all your weight will be on top of you....the baby is surrounded by the best shock absorber, I sleep best on my back...its to painful to sleep in any other position....
I've always heard that laying on your back could compromise the blood flow to the baby because the weight on the uterus. I think it's ok for brief periods but not all night once you get into late 2nd trimester.
