It's been 4 years since I've had a child, I had some blood when I wiped this morning then ten mins later, I had stringy bloody snot discharge, what was this n does this mean labor is soon???

I had light pink blood in the morning and by 11pm I was in the hospital with dark red blood. Like a period. And Full blown labor. Dr didn't say anything about the blood being bad. She acted like it was normal

When I wipe its dark browninsh discharge. But its not a lot. Almost looks like residue after a period. Could this be mucus plug?

Yep sounds like bloody show. Are you having contractions. Sounds like mucus plug too. Call your doc qnd just let them know what's going on.

And in the toilet is little pieces of the same discharge at the bottom. Tmi..lol...but I have had any contractions today. And the Dr checked my cervix yesterday so maybe he disrupted something.

L&d told me to always come in if I had blood but im a c section so idk if there's a difference. Maybe call l&d an see wat they say.
