I love my bf, with all my heart, but I'm afraid I'm going to hurt him! Ok, maybe it isn't that bad, but still. I've hit my nesting phase I guess, wanted to rearrange some stuff & just get rid of everything my boys grew out of, stuff like that. I wanted to get it done while its still early, & I'm on leave so perfect timing. But he won't let me do anything! Everytime he sees me doing something, he immediately comes in and takes over, or he stands there watching every little thing I do! I understand he wants me to take it easy, but I'm pregnant, not bed-ridden! I can't just lay on the couch for the next 6 months, I'll go crazy! Anyone else having this problem?

I wish lol I cant get my bf 2 help me or do anything I ask him 2 do. Im 37 weeks and my back hurts like crazy and its hard 4 me 2 do things now and he dont care.

Lordy lordy I love my husband till death whether it may be my death or his first. He's driving me nuts, I'm sicker than a dog and he thinks that I just don't want to be around him. Nope I don't want to be touched i've been puking all day grr!

@mz_sanders I'm greatful that he's such a help, I just feel useless is all. I'm used to always being on the go & having something that needs to be done, there has to be some middle ground somewhere.

@stormyparadise my bf is the same way! I had horrible morning sickness, & he would come to the bathroom everytime I was sick wanting to know if I wanted him to come in & if I needed help! Umm no! Sometimes you just need your privacy! Haha.

My bf is in n.c in college finishing off his semester. Im in texas he constanly calls me to see if im relaxing and if im eating right! He called me school and demabded I get a locker and extra time to get to class. Im just 13 weeks!

I understand where ur bf is coming from. I dont want to let my gf do things that r too much for her. il do them. I got it. but she is like u. she wants to do things on her own. so she does them when I go to work. can't do nothin about it if im not there lol

@stormyparadise my bf is exactly the same way. I spent my 1st trim miserably sick & he thinks I was just pushing him away from me, no I was just sick. I wish he would get on preggly or something & see how hard it is. He just keeps saying all his buddies wives didn't push them away when they were preggo. Grrrr... He acts like he's been preggo before. I keep telling him it had nothing to do with him & I was just sick.

@firsttimedaddy I can understand why he does it, his ex had a still born baby at 5 months, & they don't know why she did. I even get in trouble if I do stuff while he's gone! Its not like I want to run a marathon, I just want to be able to clean my house.

@Kriss82001 then yea I can c y he is like that. a bit over protective but he has his reasons. I still think he should let u clean around the house tho lol my situation is a bit different. my gf was a single mom b4 she met me so she is used to doin this on her own. but I'm like hey u have me now. let me help. so she.does what she can n I do the big stuff

My husband doesnt help..my parents all weekend helped to try to get house finish painted and he did jack s***. I just started painting cause i felt bad.. uuhhggg!

@firsttimedaddy I was a single mom too, my twins are almost 10 now, I've always done everything on my own & taken care of everyone around me. I think I just don't know how to be taken care of.

@Kriss82001 ooh thats exactly how my gf feels. she said she doesn't know how to b dependent on a man cuz she has done everythin on her own. we just came to ab understanding as in im here now so let me help. I know she can't change all her ways so she still does her own thing but lets me help. but I had to fight for my spot to help her out
