I had it and i got it taken out because i was told i had hpv and it pretty much pushed itself out of place anyway. It took almost a yr to get pregnant only to suffer a mc. It sucks!

That's good to know, I have mirena in right now,.but haven't had any issues yet. I'm hitting my second month.

Oh my! Thanks @hodgeslangdon for tagging me!!! Wow, i remember there was a woman on here a while back that was pregnant with the iud still inside her. I wish i could remember what her screen name was. I will always say that mirena is EVIL! Lol... Nothing but problems.

@Kara_lamek I'm sure a lot of people use it without issue, but I know some on here have had troubles so I was just passing along the info.

I have the implanon. So far I love it, besides the very mild ance I get from it when I'm on my period. I had the choice of the IUD. And I said NO! My BC is good for 3 yrs.

my sister has had it 4yrs this year and she went to the hospital the other day for complications they cant find piece of it cuz its in her uterus she has chest pains badly and her left lower body is numb
