does your unborn do this?

edited February 2011 in First time moms
I am 30 weeks pregnant, and since around my 24th week... everytime I rest my arm on my stomach my little man starts kicking untill I move it. He isn't too active, but when someone rests their arm on him he will kick until they move. My boyfriend doesn't like touching my stomach now; he says the baby already has an attitude like me. Lol... does your unborn do this as well?

  • Yep n I always have my arms on my belly
  • When I was preg with my daughter everytime my son got in my lap she would kick him even if he moved to the other side
  • Both my kids did that & I always got the biggest kick out of it. Especially when I got closer to my due date I would purposely put my husbands hand on my stomach while he was sleeping & let our son kick him til he woke up.
  • Ha awe I wish. As soon as someone touches my belly, she freezes up
  • yes...or if i am sitting down for a while he will start kicking cause he dont like being squish
and since i have huge boobs. we will kick my boobs and they will jump lol i thinks they are taking over his space..lol i am 29 weeks ..
  • Ya my girl will be kicking away and then stop when my hubby feels for her ......
  • My cat was actually laying on my stomach today purring and the baby went nuts lol
  • Ya this one doen't like to be cramped for sure!! If I sit, or put pressure at all she freaks out! I tried to use a maternity support belt, take some weight off of the belly pullin. NOPE!! She kicked the snot outta me!! I finaly took it off and she was quiet for a while! Think she wore herself out! lol
  • Oh yes he does all the time. If some just touches me tummy he gets mad. Lol its kinda funny.
  • She doesnt seem to mind unless pressure is applied but she is really sometimey about it. What she has issues with is me laying certain ways. Then she will kick up a storm. I've noticed though that her daddy's hand on my belly gets her to stop moving lol. She rarely moves for him. He has only felt her once and Im 21 wks. Meanwhile she kicks for me all the time.
  • I'm 34 weeks and I like to mess with my little girl by pressing my fingers in the side of my belly just to feel her little feet kick at my fingers! Lol I know she probably is telling me to get out of her already cramped space, but I just love feeling her little tests so much I can't help myself! Lol even my bf likes to do it so he can feel her little feet! Lol
  • Aw I wish my son would...he stops whenever someone goes to feel him haha
  • I'm 23 weeks with a girl, she's something else she moves when its time to eat. I read that its good to sleep on ya left side yea right not this one she's on my left all.the time she's is a diva and she's not even here yet oh boy
  • I'm 27 weeks and my little girl kicks everytime im on my left side or sometimes randomly, she kicks when my mom, sister and neice would want to feel her she is too much lol.. She's very active she loves laying on my bladder so it feels like I have to pee every 10 mins lol... when im at the docs she wont keep still the doc will try to get her heartbeat she'll just move she has alot of fun in there...
  • When I sit down for to long she kicks me in the ribs then I find a comfy spot she stops
  • My baby girl will be kicking like crazy and the second someone other than me touches my stomach she freezes ... except for my cats. Lol I have 2 cats and they love to curl up next to my belly or on it and she just goes nuts kicking and moving and throwin elbows lol I can't decide if she loves them or hates them being that close to my belly <3 30wks4days
  • My freezes up for everyone but my 1 yr old. They have already had their first sister fight bc my 1 yr old has pushed back on my stomach a few times like 'hey what was that?'
  • I thought I was the onlymom who felt this lol that's so funny
  • Mine do i love it :D i enjoy making my baby move it feels like I can touch her b4 I get to see her idk :)
