WHCNP vs NP

So my Dr has a scheduling conflict and won't be able to see me for my 38 week appointment. I got set up with a WHCNP instead. I've met a NP before but is it okay to see a WHCNP only this far along??? How is it different from a NP???? I thought surly I'd only be seeing my Dr from here on out.

I'm pretty sure it means women's health care nurse practicioner...which is just adding on more letters to make it seem like u had more school but I'm not sure. I had a np deliver my son but the Dr was right beside her the whole time. They seem to be more on top of their games too imo.

WHNP is also a nurse practioner she just specialize in the care of women n a Np takes care of everybody! U should be ok to see her

I had a NP for my 36 week appt and she is the one that ordered an ultrasound that basically saved my baby's life, I had no amniotic fluid left and had to deliver early...I'm sure she will do everything the way the doc would
