stitch feeling

I'm 38wks pregnant and I keep getting a bad stitch feeling down one side! Does anyone else get this? Do you know what causes it?

    I get them in my diafram where I can't breath right and down my sides. Don't know what causes it though

    @beaded_bunny it feels the same but actually can bring me to tears when its so bad! It happens everyday now!

    I've been getting it for months! Yesterday it had me doubled over squealing in pain because it was so bad. I always assumed it was stretching pains, but it's getting worse....

    No, you are not alone! I'm 36 weeks in 2 days. My husband keeps asking if it's braxton hicks, but I don't think it's supposed to be in one spot like that. Sometimes it helps if I can pull my abs in or tie something around my waist for support but yesterday--OUCH! We had this irritating contractor over giving us an estimate, and I swear the pains were my baby's way of telling me to get him out!!

    @ourlittlenugget Haha how funny! I thought it could be braxton hicks but not sure either! I have a midwife appointment on wed so I will ask her and let u know! Where r u from? Do u know the sex of ur baby?

    I get that a lot I always thought it was my uterus streching it can be really sore! when I get it I cant move if im laying down..

    Oh that would be great if your midwife has an answer, please DO let me know! I'm in New Hampshire in the states. Are you a UK mom? I ask because of the "mum". ;-) We are having a boy. How about you - do you know?
