Strep B results =\

So at my last appt. I was swabbed for strep b and I just received my results
They said positive so I guess I have it =(
So can anyone explain to me

-what type of antibiotics they have to issue?

-Do I have to let them know when I go into labor that I tested positive or is it already in my file?

I saw the other post..I kept reading the antibiotics they give you are penicillin..I'm allergic so what else can they give me??

I had strep about 3 weeks ago they put me on amoxocilin which is a antibiotic

Make sure the know you're allergic

That's the thing I guess I'm allergic to anything that has "cillian" in it amoxocilin penicillin @jennie21

Talk w your dr and make sure they know that u r allergic I belive that they can give u something else. I believe there was a post about a month ago w one of the ladies that had also tested positive and she was allergic as well but I don't remember for sure.
