My babygirl has a sore throat any suggestions

My babygirl is 7 months she went to bed fine and just woke up sounding horrible she wouldnt drink her bottle and she has a really bad cough. If I take her in,in the a.m. how will they kno if its more then a cold or croupe (sp) or something?

    My mom used to throw a peppermint or two on a bottle of warm water and gave it to my little brother. It always made his throat better it doesn't hurt to try. :)

    They can do a blood test to check her white count and see if is bacterial infection needing antibiotics. I would bring her in hun..good luck hope she feels better soon..
