Baby movement before labor.

I am 38 weeks today and my lo hasn't moved but a few times today. I heard that this can happen right before labor begins because the baby is resting for the big day. Does anyone know if this is true? Has this happened to any of you ladies before labor began?

Mine has not been moving much since 38 weeks (Im 38+5) and I still have not delivered... so Idk for sure... My doc said it could be lack of decent room or resting... lol

When I was 38 wks 1 day I went to the hospital bc she didn't seem to b moving. Turns out she was fine n I was in labor. I was admitted and delivered the next morning
