being induced on wednesday! **** advice???

EEEEEK! I am sooooo nervous! I was just talking to the dr about it and he was like "well you're 3cm and 75% so you are a great canidate, we can do it Wednesday when u are officially 39weeks" omg I am seriously freaking out! Advice of any kind anyone?????? Please! I'm going to be a mommy in 2 days:)

Oh I am not high risk or anything just ready to go lol!

Good luck I'm getting induced at 6am! Im nervous too but so ready to hold my little girl! And sorry no advice from me except try to rest as much as possible before Wednesday! Ftm here sorry i'm no help lol

@chelcie89 Lol its okay! Good luck to you too! So is there a reason you are being induced? Or just because its easier like me?

I'm high risk because I have a heart problem and will be delivering 2 hours from home plus I'm 39 weeks in the morning and on Thursday I was 3cms also but they didn't say how effaced

Well I wish you even more luck and hopefully your labor is fast! I am a ways from my hospital also about 45with no traffic but if it is during rush hr it could probably take about an hour and a half:/ so this is a safe way for me I would hate to give birth on the freeway! Lol

I was 8days overdue..my lil guy had no signs of coming. My induction was difficult. Had to push 4hrs because he never dropped. Delivery always makes me vomit so that actually helped engage him out or I would've had a c section. The only advice I can give is, if your not extremely uncomfortable with your pregnacy I would wait to see if labor starts on own. Good luck on wed!!.. I had 4 babies and didn't realise how intense pitocin induced contractions were..OUCH!

I would try and rest if possible, all 3 of my boys were induced so I have nothing to compare to but pitocin induced contractions are pretty intense I was told they were 10 x worse than natural contractions

i'm not sure if your wanting an epidural or not or how high your pain tolerance is but i'd be open to changing your birth plan if you had planned on going natural. I wanted to go natural but on pitocin heck no lol good luck with your induction and easy labor dust

I came in to be induced yesterday at 4pm n still no baby n doc just said maybe shell b here 2moro. Its a long process if baby isnt ready n make sure u eat good before u go to the hospital. Im going on 24 hrs with no food good luck

oh yes defo eat well before you go in with my first I was in labor 45 hours and my 3rd was about 19 hours and i would have you so bring you some good food after baby is born hospital food just doesn't cut it at least it didn't for me starving and having nasty food to fill your hunger not so good lol

Wow thanks ladies I appreciate the words of advice! I go in tomorrow at 7am I plan on having a few more snack before bed hehe! I know the baby dropped and I am dilating I just PRAY that I'm not in labor all day. I honestly feel sorry for the fam that's going to be with me, pain and hunger =s one CRANKY mommy to be! LOL and YES the pain meds is already on my paperwork when I go into the hospital!
