moms who had a c section

This is my second c section and I don't remember it hurting so much. Im 6 days pp and my incision hurts and burns so much I just want to cry. The pain pills and Morton don't even phase me. I didn't think it was this bad my first go around. Has it been this painful for anyone else? How long will it last? An is there something that helps?

Mine burned really bad! Ice helps...and the severe pain only last about week and a half! I wore the wrap the hospital sent home with me..that helps too!

I had a horriable recovery after my csection. I also lost a lot of blood and had a blood transfusion so I had no energy.

Dr told me was from the nerves but it does get better...promise..mine was so bad I cried

I'm 8 days pp,and I burn so bad on my incision and the flesh around it,its excruciating. I have a tiny icepack that I actually put in my panties. It helps,but doesnt completely take the burning,inflamed feeling away.

Did Ya Mommy's Have Stitches Or Staples? I'm 15 Days PP & My Incision Only Hurt For 5 Days, I Had Stitches Inside & Glue On The Outside.

I had staples. Had my lil Guy on the 7th and I felt pretty good this is my 2nd csection. I didn't take the painkillers to much either I was off them before coming home. But I did alottt of walking. Had my son at nine that morning was doing laps by five that afternoon

It really hurt a lot the first week, but it got better getting around

My first few days were awful from gas pains & constipation! Omg it hurt like a mofo! I carried a pillow around with me for incision pain. One night my fiance made me laugh so much I was in tears b/c of the pain! Within about a week I was alot better but it started to itch like crazzzzy!!! My doc removed the tape from my incision last week (2 wks pp), and I was itching /burning Soo bad b/c I had a reaction to the tape!! It caused blisters and messed up my skin..as if the incision wasn't enough!
