U/s at 41 weeks?

Yesterday the midwife scheduled me for an u/s next tuesday (ill be 41wks) to check on baby. My question is with him being so big, will I be able to see anything? I havent had an u/s since 20wks so if it comes down to me not having him for another week it'd be nice to atleast have another (decent) ultrasound photo of him.

I was 32 weeks and they couldn't give me a photo cuz he was already head down and faced toward my spine. So I wouldn't count on it.

Yeah. I didn't mind too much cuz we had recently gotten a 3d & those came out well.

ya hes just bigger lol,, my lil guy #2 face looked all chubby.. and he was rather cramped.. instead of seeing every thinmg all at once you see different baby parts lol both my boys were 10 days late so i know how you feel girl'' and the dr told me its likly to happen again ugh not what i wanted to hear

I just had one at 41 weeks head down couldn't see much tbh

I had a u/s at 32 weeks also but couldnt see his face bc he was already head down and turned and couldnt see much

@kris100717 hes been head down for weeks now. Sounds like I wont see much then
@samiuk do you know what they look for doing an u/s so late?

I had one at 36 weeks. He was head down and we got a pretty good profile shot.

i had a few at 41wks it just depends on your baby if your going to see there chubby lil face.. good luck.. hope you get a glimps and he/she is not playing hide and seek.. lol
late u/s usually check for fluid.. size.. and to make sure dates are right.. and position..

Sorry no idea i just had to have it done cos he was having a party for a couple of hours and his heart beat was was really fast, cos he wouldn't stop moving lol
