I had my first ultrasound at 9 weeks at the hospital and when I went in for my follow up at my obgyn (same week) I heard the heartbeat on the doppler im not sure when u can find out wat your having but my friend did tell me she found out she was having a boy at 16 weeks

No gender yet! Not till your next one. Usually around 18 weeks. You will see the heart beat. First ultra sound is usually 8 weeks. Not a fully formed baby yet! So no boy-girl parts! But you will great the heart at your check up. And every check up after.

And you might have a naughty baby whose lying in an awkward position when you want to see if they're a boy or a girl! Lol
