So pissed

So im having my baby girl on Thursday and naming her Ryenn (pronounce Ryan). Well my in laws decided they are going to call her Ann. Thats not her name! Im even fine with Ry but not Ann! Im so pissed of them always changing my kids names. My 3yo name is Dakota and ever since we told them her name they changed it to Cody. So fine i let that one go but i spelled it the way i wanted and of course they don't spell it my way. I spell it Kody. Just so tried of my husband not telling them it bugs me and just lets his parents do whatever but if its mine he makes a fuss till i fix my parents. Just tried of it! Sorry for the vent! What do you think i should do?

    Tell them your self. I've learned not to wait for my hubby to talk to his parents. Or it will never happen!

    they never listen to me. I told them when they shorted my last daughters name i didn't like it and if they would just call her what i named her and they said they didn't like it so they would call her what they want.

    I can relate. My daughter Is my in laws only granddaughter. Nor did they have a daughter. Any ways they kept calling her sis while I was pregnant and I told them no way are they calling her that. Well the day she was born they called her sis. I made them leave the hospital room and they still haven't seen her. She's 5wks tomorrow. They told the hubby I was being selfish. Which may be true. But I didn't name her sis, her name is Launa. And until they can call her by her name they wont see her nor my two boys!

    no i don't think its selfish. Its you daughter and you have the right to name her what you want and if thats the only way they get it then i say do it but my hubby won't let me do that. If they wanted a girl they should have kept trying! They have no right to call her that. And thats why im so pissed is cause she's my daughter and they have no right to rename her.

    My babys name is Gianna and some will call her gabby...WTH! it doesnt even sound alike:(!

    yea people just drive me nuts. Which they would just listen to us the moms!

    That's y I choose my little girls name with only 2 nickname possibilities lol her name is Allyssa nickname being aly cat or Ali :) sometimes we can't choose what family nicknames kids I call my nephew bugger lol

    Don't let them see her til they cam call her by her name. It's not selfish, you named her and they should respect that. Don't let them even in to the hospital. It's about respect!

    thanks! None of my family is coming to the hospital. And they will have my older two kids that we have to go pick up from them so won't work right away but maybe after just don't let them see her again until they get it right!

    thanks have thought about it. Just not sure if i want to disrespect them too. I have this thing that everyone has to like me and i don't disrespect people at least not on purpose!
