How many mucus plugs will I lose?!

Last Friday (the 7th) was my due date. I had an appointment on Friday where I was checked for dilation. I lost my mucus plug when I got home from the appointment I'm guessing from getting checked. It was about the size of a nickel. Two days later, I lost about the same amount again. Just now, I used the restroom, wiped and there was a little bit on the paper. I wiped again and a huge amount just came out of me. I'm talking like triple the amount of the other two times. Is it normal to have such a large amount much??

    It regenerates and you will lose it in pieces.

    Im at about 1/8th of a cup for 3 weeks now... I lost a bunch and then it slowed down and now its about every 3 times I go to the bathroom that there is some... I am now 41w...

    I was told it can build itself back up, especially if you lost it after having your cervix checked and then you can lose it all over again...super fun ;)
