Most jobs want u atleast released by your Dr for legal reasons. I had a disabllty plan that paid me 60% of my pay whilei was off...if I returned before 8 weeks-csection....I had to pay them back.
As long as your Dr clears you to perform your tasks at work I do not see why you couldn't. With my 1St I went back to work when he was 4 weeks. This one I'm taking all my maternity leave.
