So my question is how often does the baby come on the same day my wife is being induced? We have an induction scheduled on the 14th and I was wondering what are the chances for the baby coming on the 14th?
@lucyloo28 I was just curious because I know labor can go on for a long time. Were hoping she comes that day because her bday would be the same as a couple family members.
my water broke on its own 130 am the day of induction, i didn't start contracting until they started the pitocin at 730 am and my son was born at 414pm. that's just my experience; i'm not sure about stats and all, but i would think the majority do.
I was induced at 5 am on the 28th of sep. My son wasnt born until 130 am on the 29th of sep. I guess you really never know! And I was already dailated 2 cm and contracting on my own.
The pitocin will help keep labor from going for too long, that's kinda what its for. Unless there is a problem, or they start really late, the baby should be here the 14th, or really early the 15th. But anything can happen between now and the time that she is actually born, however the chances of her being born AFTER the 14th are very slim.
