Please help

Is it really bad to eat honey while breastfeeding? I got everyone all upset at dinner when I said i was eating peanut butter an honey roll ups everyday. They said hes gonna have peoblems an stuff. He doesnt act like it bothers him or anything I have no clue please help.

  • I am I luckly have his 2 month check tomorrow, so I will be asking thanks tho. They just made me feel bad like I'm trying to harm my son.
  • Yes you are not suppose to give an infant under 1yrs old hunny because it can cause them the choke. But I dont think it will have any effect in your breast milk...BUMP

    Honey in under 1s can cause botullism. I'm not sure about it being passed on in breast milk though, check with your doctor and try not to worry
  • I wouldn't worry I've done so much reading and research on bf never did I cone accross no honey ur body metabslized it as sugar u should be fine but things change ask ur doc but I dought there is a problem
