what does baby drop mean?

I went to the doctor yesterday and she said the baby has drop. Im 36 weeks along. Does that mean im going to have my baby soon?

I think it just means baby is getting ready...it could mean labor is near or could be a week or so away, no one really knows for sure.

It means thee baby has lowered into yur pelvis area and is preparing to make his/her big debut... it doesn't necessarily mean thee baby is coming soon but thee baby is now prepared :-D
