what does baby drop mean?

I went to the doctor yesterday and she said the baby has drop. Im 36 weeks along. Does that mean im going to have my baby soon?

It means that the baby has descended downwards toward the birth canal. It just means that baby is preparing for birth, it doesn't determine when. My baby dropped around 32weeks & I didn't have my son until 39weeks.
