So my son's cord fell off over 3 weeks ago and has had small scabs inside ever since. Today I noticed part of his belly button looks all red almost like a blood blister inside. I would take him to go see his dr about that. It might be nothing but it also might be an infection or herniated belly button

Yep I agree with the rest. It shouldn't be red like the blister look its having. If it were just black I wouldn't worry too much but better safe than sorry! Good luck keep us posted!

@everyone sorry it took so long to update. His pediatrician said it was a granuloma and put silver nitrate on it to make it shrivel up and fall off. No cause for concern thank god.
