being tan w/o tanning

edited November 2011 in Health
I tan great, but can't keep it so in the winter i usually tan. Many ppl say it's bad while pregnant so...

What would u suggest? How do u keep tan when pregnant if you're not born with brown skin all yr round & are extremely self concious about it? :-?

  • I spray tanned when I was pregnant. I also used an at home spray tan called Quick Tan by Body Drench. You can get it at Sallys or on Amazon. It's awesome.
  • I used Victoria secret it has different settings an lots an lots of shimmer it worked great .

  • When I worked at Victoria's Secret a lot of customers liked our tanning products. I would check those out definitely!
  • U move to hawaii where the sun is out all year round ;)

    ...i'm always tanned lol
  • @myheartzx3 :-)) i would in a heartbeat if my husband could come with his girls! Kaui was amazing & a place this ocean girl could live for sure... but i ended up in idaho! X( lol!!!

Also, for everyone, I've always had extremely dry skin so I'm afraid to do sprays & lotions bc they make weird marks on feet, hands, knees... everywhere! And exfoliating doesn't work! Lol

I've seen spray tans out here but they have weird spots toi & it doesn't last long... any tricks of the trade??!??
  • @molly @mrz_jackson2anpreggo which lotion at vs would u say? There's 2... one is $12 & the other is $42 lol

Has anyone tried bath & body tan lotion?
  • I bought both of them for my sister-in-law's bday and she said both were awesome. Didn't leave her orange and streaky either.

Bath and Body and VS are owned by the same company so the tanning lotion at Bath and Body may be similar to VS's. It could be worth a shot!
  • I heard bath an body works was good. The worker at vs suggested the one for 14 cuz it had the adjustable color setting
  • Mystic tan is what I do.:) it's usually $20-$30 a session or a salon will have it unlimited for around $70-$90 a month. It lasts about 7 days so I go for the monthly.
  • St Tropez tanning mousse is nice too. A little $$ but easy to use and looks good on your face too if you use it lightly. ;)
