ftm breast feeding question..plz help me!

My Lo is 8 days old and only gets breast milk but bc of small tongue he doesn't latch on well so I mostly pump...my question is how much should he be eating approximately and how often...right now he is eating anywhere between 2 and 3oz and about every 2 to 3 hrs...is this normal to much or not enough? Nobody taught me anything at the hospital and no one I know breast feeds....any advice would be appreciated..thanks preglies!

Ok good thanks yall! He spit up real bad tonight for the first time...he choked and lost his breath and only 9 days after csection I jumped out of bed like I didn't have major surgery...needless to say pain pills are my best friend right now! Then of course he was screaming for more milk bc he spit about an oz up!

Sound like my daughter. She moved to 4oz after 3 weeks of age.

I think as long as you feed him what you pump when he is hungry I dont think it should matter the oz as long as he is satisfied just watch diaper output
