gripe water

edited November 2011 in Babies
Ella is really gassy and fussy tonight. I bought gripe water but was just wondering how you ladies give it in the dropper or in a bottle. Also how long does it take to work?

  • Dropper because I breastfeed and works quick for my son too!
  • do u find that in the pharmacy section of a store or where?
  • I got mine online and they have it at Walmart also now too. It only took a few for my daughter I gave it to her directly.
  • Dropper & only takes a few mins. It's great for hiccups too :)

  • @iibett no hun. And if they r still super fussy after feeds I always give colic calm cuz I think sensitive tummy babies r all going to be a lil colicky. I mean it sucks for them they r in pain. And my last ditch effort is tylenol. I want to do all natural remidies before giving medication ya know.
  • I put it either by a dropper or with the bottle. my husbands grandparents bought us some from canada that worked better than the brands here in the states!

@kingsmama- did you order the colic calm online? Does it work pretty good?? It has pretty good reviews, I was thinking about ordering it
  • i have mommys bliss gripe water and it seems to work pretty well
  • @JuliansMommy art for the delay in response my nil is in town this week. I actually found it at cvs I didn't get it online :) it works very well for my son it helps him a lot. My only bad review on it would be that its a black liquid. And it stains clothes very easily and its a kinda sticky molasses type texture. But it works for my son. Is say its worth it to see if works for ur baby.
