How early can you, or did you, find out the gender?

I am roughly 17-18 weeks along and I have an ultrasound on Monday to check the size and organ development.
I am dying to know what I am having.
Will I be able to find out the gender?

    Yeah.. I'm gonna be 16 weeks tomorrow and im going for a 3d gender scan, genitals can be seen from 15weeks I think

    id say ya u should find out ur babys gender i went in at 14 weeks dd was way off lol. tech said he thought it was a boy but would not say for sure as it was too early to be even 25% sure six weeks later went in for my 20 week and im gettin a little girl so id say ur in the clear and should kno wat your getting good luck

    I was about 18 weeks with my son and they were right. This time I HAve to wait until 22 weeks so they better be right lol
