1 week old & staying awake ........

My daughter is turning a week old today , she is starting to stay awake the whole time between feedings is that normal ? She eats every 3 hours .

    As long as she isnt upset I wouldnt be worried. My son hardly slept through the day... But second time around I can.hardly keep my daughter awake lol

    My almost 2 week old sleeps a lot. I don't remember my first sleeping so much

    my son didn't and still doesn't sleep much during the day. he'll cat nap and have 1 long nap but that's it. and the past 2 nights he's slept 6 hours before he woke up to eat then goes right back down and is sleeping for another 3-4! it's wonderful. he's 2 months.
