Umbilical cord bleeding? Help :(

Two days ago half of my son's umbilical cord came off and now his belly button keeps bleeding It's not bleeding a lot, but every time I change his clothes there's a little blood stain. It doesn't seem like it's bothering him, but I'm still a little worried, is it normal for it to bleed?

My daughters did that too. Now its all better.

My sons did the same and it smelled bad to which was normal I guess lol.

My daughters bleed for a couple weeks even after it came off and dr. just kept an eye on it but it is fine now and looks great

My son's did that when it was still attached and it scared the hell out of me to see the bright red blood on his diaper and clothes but his doctor said as long as the bleeding stopped and it wasn't excessive it is nothing to worry about.

@thetrondsons2st @samantha @august22baby @mommyfor3 @excitedforoctober Thanks ladies I was starting to get pretty worried since it's been bleeding for a couple days. Raistlin's 2 week check up is on Wednesday, so I can have the doctor take another look at it while we're there
