Has anyone ever been prescribed flagyl for a yeast infection?

I'm 4 weeks pp and I've been having itching and an odor so I called my doctor's office and told them that I believed I had a YI told them my symptoms and he called in flagyl.

I took it all during my pregnancy when I had YI.. works good, symptoms are gone pretty quick.

I never heard of taking flagyl for an yeast infection, but for a bacteria infection..did the flagyl work? I always hated that nasty pill ugh but it wrks very good and fast

That is not for a yeast infection its for a bacteria infection in fact the medication could give you a. Yeast infection because it cures bacteria...sounds dumb but its true but its very.good diflucan is a pill for yeast infections
